Help Commission an Artist in Need

_{This update is for ~belialchan, who's in a pretty bad situation right now, and is in need of funds. To quote *kaoru-chan, whose journal I first heard this from, "It's a question of whether she can eat dinner tonight or not...."

~belialchan is a wonderful artist who greatly inspires me in my own art, and even though I don't know her personally in real life or online, knowing that a fellow artist is in such a situation deeply troubles me. More about her situation and how to commission her is here: [link]

As soon as I make a PayPal account, I hope to commission her myself. If any of you have money to spare for an artist in need, please consider helping her out.

☄ When did you start drawing?
I started drawing as a hobby around 4th or 5th grade.

☄ Which hand do you use for drawing?
Left. :3

☄ Which is easier to draw - male or female?
Female for sure. D:

☄ Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Long hair. (Maybe that's why it's hard for me to draw males...)

☄ Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
It seems I more frequently draw the head facing towards my left.

☄ Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Front view, usually at an angle. ;;;

☄ What do you have problems in drawing?
Everything. Male body proportions, poses, backgrounds...

☄ What do you like to draw?
Faces (particularly eyes), hair, clothing, happy situations. 8D

☄ Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
I draw on paper, then I retrace my lines and color digitally. So mostly digital.

☄ Where do you start drawing from?
Eyes first, then the nose, mouth, eyebrows, shape of face, then hair. Very unprofessional-like, lol.

☄ What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
I usually draw at my best when I'm happy, so the only emotion I can convey well is happiness. :< Also, there's not a lot of movement in my drawings.

☄ Any tips for coloring/shading?
I'm not sure I'm in a place to say, since I need tips myself. I guess... color however you feel like! |D

☄ How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
The original sketch on paper takes about 20 minutes, and then scanning + lineart + coloring... HOURS. At least 5 hours. ///orz

☄ What music do you listen to while you draw?
I'm the weird person who concentrates better in silence. But music does inspire me to draw, so the stuff I listen to beforehand really varies.

☄ How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
Nowadays I only grab a sheet of paper when an idea randomly pops into my head. Probably around 5-10 minutes to come up with a general idea, then I add on to it as I draw.

☄ Your favorite drawing utensils?
A mechanical pencil and computer paper.

☄ Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
Blues and pinks~

☄ Your favorite style(s)?
Light and flowy, with interesting colors.

Not very many... um... CLAMP... and... um. 8<
